somethin old something new at Creative Inspirations

hello there! How are you today? I'm feeling good and happy as my gorgeous Shaun returns today from Japan. He must be enroute as I write this! I also had a fab run yesterday - the temperature was perfect and there was no rain - woohoo - runs like that are the reason I fell in love with running in the first place!

This week's challenge at Creative Inspirations (cinspirations) is Something Old & Something New!
Use items from your stash on your creations that are old and new! Remember to tell us which is which.

New Stash - Bought within the last 6 months
Old Stash - Older than 6 months / Neglected stash.

This week's prize is from CLASSY CRAFTS who are giving away a £10 Voucher!

Here's what I did.

I made this for my nephew Henry who was 11 a few days ago. He lives in Germany and we don't see much of him. So I went for an image that suits many boys - its from Mo Manning and although I've had it a while I've never used it! That's my new thing. My papers are from an old QVC paper set that I must have had about 5 years. I coloured the image with promarkers and added twine.  I hope he liked it!

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

The male roomthemaleroomchallengeblog: AG
Kaboodle Doodleskaboodledoodles: Anything with scallops

Thanks for dropping by today and for any comments you may leave - I really appreciate you taking the time! Hope to see you again soon!

Big hugs

Rachel x

  2. Good morning, and for you it is especially good seeing how your husband is on route home. Like you mine worked away from home a lot some times for months (small company so couldn't afford to bring them home for a week or so. Better to have work than not, team agreement) anyway it's great to have them back.

Your card is just right for a boy and 11 year old will be into the games.
    Like you choice of papers.

  3. A great card Rachel, perfect for a boy into XBox or Playstation. I have to admit this would suit my soon to be 27year old. Glad you had a good run and hope it's like that on the day.
