Another teaparty? Its always time for tea....

Hello there! Its time for the second of my pieces for the current challenge at Countryview Challenges where the theme this month is TeaParty. I have again gone for the Alice in wonderland approach to this theme since it was my friend Alice's birthday coming up when I needed to make the card!!!

To make this card I used images/ papers from stamperia---double-sided-12-x-12-inch-paper-pack---alice plus old oxford impressions stamps of the old images of Alice.

I started by cutting 6 pieces of paper of 13 x 9 cm size.....

Next I stamped some of the Alice images ....

then coloured and fussy cut them.....before putting the whole thing together on an accordion card - basically A3 card cut in half along the short edge, folded in half and each half folded in half again....
Here's a close up of two panels where I just left them alone....

On these next pages I added teapots and Alice images to make them fit the theme more....

This is the back....

I am hoping my friend really enjoyed her card!
Have a great day!!!!

friends birthdays

Hello there - well it seems a long time since I've been on here - but friends birthdays are rolling in thick and fast and here's a couple I made recently! Firstly here's one I made during a workshop online with Jo Rice - really had a lovely time and like the outcome a lot! This was for my friend Deb who runs the pottery studio I use.

And this one was for Deb's daughter who is a drummer - she was really pleased!

Hope you are managing to stay well. Things here are good but a bit samey - i am hugely busy with Penny's homeschooling - less so with Lucy - oh and making samples for TV!
I do hope all of you are doing okay!

Big hugs

CCC: window or door

Hello there!

How are you? I hope you are well and managing to cope with lockdown as it continues. I must say that on the whole it suits me but I do struggle to get motivated sometimes.... I guess thats very common!

Its Christmas card club again and this time the theme was windows or doors....well my lack of motivation is in evidence .... and I only made one card...oh well I do hope I'll be forgiven!

I used a die, stamp and embossing folder set from crafters companion..... my mum cut me the wreath for the front door... its not very exciting - I apologise!

My mum managed to make two cards... this one using an image from a hunkydory little book....

and this one using a stamped image from Clarity and paper from first edition...

I am looking forward to seeing what everybody else has made!

Big hugs and I will catch up later xxx

Teaparty at Countryview Challenges

Hello there! May 1st! Wow - how did that happen so very quickly? It does mean that there is a new challenge at Countyview challenges and the theme this month is 'teaparty'...given I recently got the stamperia---double-sided-12-x-12-inch-paper-pack---alice I decided I had better use it for my first make for this theme....

To start I used a piece of mountboard and painted it using some metallic paint and then used some paste that I coloured through a TH stencil.

Next I used the -tracy-scott-35-a5-stamp-set-from paperartsy to add more details to the board background.

I then got cutting images from the papers and randomly added them to the board....

Finally I added a few more smaller images plus the main teaparty image to complete my collage...

I do hope you can join us!

Hugs
