Music at Christmas Card Club

 Hello there!

Well that fortnight has rolled around again and its time for Christmas Card Club and the theme this time is Music. As soon as I saw the theme I knew which stamp I wanted to use - so off I went to my Chocolate Baroque stamp drawers and eventually I found the very beautiful Christmas Rose. I then went along to my IndigoBlu cabinet and got out the copper green, unicorn tears and gold luscious powders and the glam rock gold embossing glaze. I used versa mark to stamp the image three times on black card and then heat set with the glam rock gold embossing glaze.

I cut the image out and mounted it on cream card and then finally onto a metallic purple card blank!

My mum made two cards for the challenge - this first one used John Lockwood dies....

And the second one used a heartfelt creations stamp and a Creative die.

Hope you have a great Sunday! Looking forward to seeing what the other ladies have created.

One cat away from Crazy

Hello there! Its my second post for the 100 challenge over at Countryview challenges. This time I have used lots of Aall and Create items to make up another card.

I started by making the circular piece by stamping Tracy Evans stamps onto rice paper. The hears were a separate stamp that I stamped onto rice paper and painted the back with metallic paint. After that I used slap it on to stick the rice paper to a gessoed board circle then left that to dry.  Next I used the Aall and create A4 stencil and more of the same paint to create the dotty background. Next I added some background stamping in black to make the 100, amongst other numbers. Then I adhered the circle to the card and finally stamped and fussy cut the cats and added them to the card.

Hope you have a great day!

Baubles at Christmas Card Club

 Hello there,

Well its a bit of  sad one today - out theme at Christmas card Club was chosen by our lovely teamie Shaz (silverwolf) who we lost a wee while ago - so this post is in memory of Shaz.

I have made 4 cards and my mum made two. I used all Chocolate Baroque stamps -

This first pair are basically the same just with different colour ways - I can't find the stamp set to the you the name - but aren't they exquisite?

These two cards also feature chocolate baroque stamps - the first one is called Christmas Garden and the second tangled baubles. Both were painted in using luscious powders so they are really shiny.

Mum made two cards using the very beautiful stencil from sweet poppy stencils - I saw this one used last year by our lovely Margaret - bought the stencil - now can I find it???? Anyway my mum has used Lavinia stamps on this first card ....

And this one is an inkylicious stamp.
Have a great Sunday - I am going to be in the garden after my run first thing - don't want to be crafting in this beautiful weather!
Big hugs

100th Challenge at Countryview Crafts

Hello there! Well its the first of June - how did that happen I hear you say???? - and time for a new challenge over at Countryview Challenges. Its a special one this time as its their 100th challenge - so this time there are special rules and 2 ways to win a £20 voucher. Find out all the details here

I decided to make something using a set of stamps by Finnabair - and also cracked open the new salvaged patina oxide spray and distress oxide ink..

Love this new colour - isn't it just so pretty - I thought the circular stamps lent themselves well to making a 100! Its a pretty simple card that didn't take long to make - just a little sprayig and stamping really!
Hope you have a great day!
