Christmas trees at CCC

Hello there! Its time for another Christmas Card Club outing. This fortnight the theme is Christmas trees. I am currently very busy making stuff for an art fair stall and have only had chance to upcycle cards this time. My mu has made cards using hunky dory toppers.

My three - no great shakes but as I said needs must.

Here are three from my mum -

I hope you all have a good day. I will be at work in the village store all day so will try to catch up with other Christmas card club makes tonight.
Big hugs

More seasons of mists

Hello there! I am on the Countryview Challenges page today with my second post for the 'Seasons of mists and Mellow Fruitfulness Challenge. This time I have used stamps from Aall and Create to make a card.

The background was made using distress oxide sprays - ripe persimmon, carved pumpkin and salvaged patina - I used clean colour pens to colour the stamped images from Aall and Create. I added the words lastly.
You've still got a full 2 weeks to enter the challenge which is running all month and you can find details of here.
Have a great day!

Kraft at Christmas card Club

Hello there lovelies. Well its been a busy September already - I had my opening night in the village play on Friday night - and closing one last night. All was good and felt good to be performing again - our first in person  play since lockdown ...we did a couple of radio plays but this was much more fun!

I start a new job today - in the village shop - and then I'm back to teaching on Monday - I wonder which I'll prefer??? Times are changing!

So this fortnight at Christmas card Club the theme is kraft - I have used a fabulous new design from Pink ink - not sure I like the kraft card treatment of the image - but \i love the design. It may return next fortnight!

I stamped onto kraft card in versamark and heat set with white embossing powder. I used distress ink in the background and a white posca plus red clean colour for most of the other colouring.
My mum has done a much better take on kraft - using a sue wilson die and other dies from tonic.

I think these are very cute!
Hope you have a great Sunday!
Hugs

Seasons of mist at Countryview Challenges

Hello there! Well its time to start yet another month - oh my goodness - I wish time would stop racing away! That's the school holidays over - and back to work for me today - at least until the end of October when I will be leaving my current job - counting the days now!

Its time for a new challenge at Countryview Challenges and the theme this month is Seasons of mist and mellow fruitfulness. Here's my first make for the theme. A card I will use for my brother in laws birthday I think.

I used a set of stamps from katzelcraft (find it here)and made the card by spritzing a piece of card with distress oxide sprays - carved pumpkin, ripe persimmon and salvaged patina) then stamping on top and colouring the images using clean colour pens. I then added the leaves from the set which were stamped in versafine clair in 3 different colours. Lastly I made the letters and stuck them down then matted the card onto a blank card.
I hope you have a great day and can join our challenge which you should find here.
Big hugs!
