Bells at Christmas Card Club

Hello there! Its time for our third outing of the christmas card Club and this time the theme is Bells - I have used chocolate Baroque stamps and flake and foil to make my designs this time - I got a bit carried away!

I stamped the images in flitterglu onto black card then rubbed on flake (lancashire rose and manchester tart) I also used luscious powder on the tree branch and the bows. Then I fussy cut the images and mounted them onto some shiny printed card I picked up in the hunkydory sale. Finally I stamped onto the card background in second generation ink.

My mum made two cards using tattered lace and card making magic dies - I love the littel reindeer border on the second one!

Looking forward to seeing what my teamies make!
Have a great day!

IndigoBlu shows this week

 Hello there,

Just wanted to record my makes for the IndigoBlu shows this week - there were the new stamps on Wednesday (will post later) and a current ODS on Hochanda. These are Leonie's picks of her fave IndigoBlu stamps.

This one used the Paisley background stamp plus one of the collectors stamps paisleys.

This one mostly used collects stamps with a hint of the sunflower mandala in the background - all painted in the new luscious colours.

I can't recall the name of this stamp - something like butterfly hedgerow - its truely beautiful - and those words are the best!

Hope you have  great Saturday!

Nativity at Christmas card club

 Hello there!

How are you? Well I am a little late with this - everything was ready - I just forgot to do the blogging bit! My brain - honestly!

So its Christmas card club again today and the theme this fortnight is 'Nativity'. I have used some images from Crafty Individuals and put them together to form a scene.

I started by watercolouring the backgrounds using pens from Phill Martin and then stamped the images. I paper pieced the kings cloaks and the city too. I was a busy bee and did the whole process 4 times!

My mum made two cards - both using the sweet poppy stencil but I'm not sure whose stamp it is....is it Clarity??? She used distress oxides with the stencil - one is iced spruce and ripe persimmon I think whilst the other is speckled egg and crackling campfire. They both look pretty similar to me. She asked whether of not they needed a sentiment and I said yes - not sure though that they did now!

Hope you have a great Sunday. Stay safe!
Love and hugs

More 'squares' at Countryview Challenges

Hello there! Well I am on the Countryview Crafts Blog today - the theme this month is to use one or more squares. I made a card this time using some leftover pieces of paper that I cut into squares and layered up on a square piece of card and added some stamping using the Toucan set from Pink Ink Designs.

Those toucans are so cute - you can find the stamp set here.

I do hope you can join the challenge!

Big hugs

Kraft at Christmas Card Club

Hello there! I hope the new year is treating you okay. Believe it or not, its the first outing of the Christmas Card Club for the year today. I always feel its a bit crazy at this time of year, but come December I am always glad that I made the effort! The first theme of the year comes from Kate and she has asked to see Kraft Card.

I made 4 cards this time - using stamps from Claritystamp, versamark ink and white embossing powder. Each image was stamped onto Kraft, set and fussy cut before being paired up and then matted and layered onto kraft, clarity/lavinia paper and also some sheet music. I also added a little string bow to each too.

My mum has made two cards for this theme too - The first includes spellbinders dies but mum can't remember the brand of the deer die. The second involves a stamp from Chocolate Baroque.

Its a good start to my stash for December! And to my mums!
Have a great day!

Use Squares at Countryview Crafts

Good morning all! And a very happy New Year to you! Lets hope 2021 is a better year for all of us - and the planet too! We have a new challenge starting over at Countryview Challenges where you are invited to use a square of squares on your project. I have made 2 cards for my first installment - lots of male cards needed at this time of year so I went for AAll and Create Stamps and an AAll and Create Stencil. I used the balloon stamp from a set by bipasha in the DL card and the train from the archway set by -bipasha on the large square card.

They were both made using the aall and create A4 squares stencil. Very similar cards - definitely very masculine!

Hope you have a great 2021!!!
Big hugs
