Hello there!
How are you? Well I am a little late with this - everything was ready - I just forgot to do the blogging bit! My brain - honestly!
So its Christmas card club again today and the theme this fortnight is 'Nativity'. I have used some images from Crafty Individuals and put them together to form a scene.
I started by watercolouring the backgrounds using pens from Phill Martin and then stamped the images. I paper pieced the kings cloaks and the city too. I was a busy bee and did the whole process 4 times!
My mum made two cards - both using the sweet poppy stencil but I'm not sure whose stamp it is....is it Clarity??? She used distress oxides with the stencil - one is iced spruce and ripe persimmon I think whilst the other is speckled egg and crackling campfire. They both look pretty similar to me. She asked whether of not they needed a sentiment and I said yes - not sure though that they did now!
Hope you have a great Sunday. Stay safe!
Love and hugs
Rachel xx

ReplyDeleteWonderful set of cards from you both again. The colours in your Bethlehem scene are gorgeous and Gwen's bauble stencil creates a lovely backdrop for that silhouette stamp.
