All about the sea for Chocolate Baroque

Hello there - more inspiration from the Chocolate Baroque shows from June. In this first card I have used mostly stamps from the Mermaid Queen set. I did a little stencilling lightly in the background then stamped the images and created the scene. I painted the scene using mica powders.

In this next card I used the Seashell Collage stamp set - I used distress oxide in the background then I created a little 'wreath' using the images then stamped the beautiful verse and seagull stamp centrally.
My final piece is a ceramic plate  - I used the Ammonite stamp to make this - I wanted it to look like a bed of rock with fossils in it!

Have a great day!

Blue and Silver at Christmas Card Club

 Hello there,

How are you? Its another lovely day for an outing from the Christmas Card Club and this time the theme is Blue and Silver. I have 4 cards of the same design....

To make this I hove used the beautiful IndigoBlu Vivids in the background (misty morning and Blue satin sashes) - the main image is a stamp from Crafty Individuals. I have also used a chocolate Baroque stencil plus a finnabhair paperclay star.

My mum has used a chocolate Baroque stamp - not sure who the sentiment or the frame is from - sorry!

A wonderful pair of cards mum!

Hope you have a great day!

loving the greenery

Hello there! Well its my second outing with inspiration for the stencils challenge over at Countryview Challenges. This time its  Aall and Create stamp and stencil plus a touch of Tim too!

The stamp is one from the very lovely Tracy Evans - I have coloured using clean colour pens. The triangular stencil is from Aall and Create and I have used peeled paint distress oxide through it. I also added that through a Tim stencil - and then a little mustard seed Distress oxide.

I have sent this to my brother in law who lives over in Germany - he's already seen it but doesn't follow my blog anyway!

I do hope you can join us.
Big hugs

Anything goes at Christmas Card Club

 Hello there!

Well another fortnight has rolled around and is time for another outing of the Christmas card Club. The theme this time is anything goes - so I decided to use one of the new IndigoBlu stamps that launched on Friday - I also stole one of my teamies ideas - so thanks Sue Jacob!!!

I stamped the wreath then heat set with clear embossing powder - next I created the scenes on the circles. Lastly I added some spray inks around the outside of the wreath - finally I matted it onto a card - very easy!

My mum has made two cards using Lavinia stamps.

I love thenm both - very beautiful!

Have a great Sunday - back at work for me tomorrow after 10 days isolating...it will seem strange going out!

Big hugs

Use a stencil (or two) at Countryview Challenges

Hello there! Well its July again - really how did that happen? There's a new challenge over at Countryview Challenges today and the theme is 'Use a stencil - or two' Now what could be easier than that? I have a twofer for you today with a couple of cards made using aall and create stencils and tracy easson stamps.

In this first card I used bloom in love and joy by Tracy Easson  and the stencil I have used is by aall and create. I also used the salvaged-patina distress oxide ink pad through the stencil and coloured the girl using clean colour pens.

In my second make I used bloom-and-blossom also from Tracy Easson and the stencil was lotza-crescentz from aall and create. I used crackling-campfire distress oxide through the stencil and clean colour pens to colour the image.

You can get further inspiration and link up to the challengehere
Hope you can join us!
