Use a stencil at countryview challenges

A very good May Morning to you all! How are you today? I hope you are well and if you did stay up to watch the sunrise I hope you have a good sleep now!!!

There is a new challenge over at countryviewchallenges starting today and the theme is 'Use a stencil'.
Things are a little different this month - there is a challenge and a blog hop. Here's what Susan has to say about it:

This month alongside our Challenge, we are also running a Blog Hop with a Sizzix Big Shot Machine & Die Bundle as the prize. I made a birthday card - Here's a step by step guide to my make:

So I started by making an A4 background board using fresco paints and a brayer.

Next I added some paint through a paperartsy stencil using a stippling action.

Next I cut the sheet to size - a 14cm square - then added distress ink through another paperartsy stencil. Then I die cut and embossed a Tim Holtz Bigz dragonfly. I added this and some Tim chit chat stickers to the card.
