Morning all! Well we had a good day yesterday - lots of fun and a haircut! And wasn't it warm last night? My Jalapeno plants are coming along nicely this year in the greenhouse with all this warmth and I'm hoping for a good crop - we do love to eat chillies!!!!
I did a bit of messy play Weds night getting this card ready for todays post. It was done with the Sunday Stamper in mind where Hels has set the theme of Time. I've made it for one of my neighbours who has a birthday coming up soon - I suspect it won't be his bag - but I like it!
The verse is by WH Davies and was always our family poem - so when Claritystamps brought it out I had to have it! I started with some Graphics 45 Coordinations card stock with clocks on it that I rubbed with sanding paper then added shabby shutters DI to and distressed the edges too. Then I covered half of the card and added a clock mask and sprayed with green dylusions spray. The other side I stamped with a Papermania stamp and repeated all the way down. I stamped the sentiment and distressed with shabby shutters DI then took a postcard from papermania and distressed it with forest moss DI. I also used this on the clock Diecut. I assembled the piece and added the wheel and clock and added the cogs that have been colured with pear green promarkers. The clock hands were also coloured with the same colour. The steampunk hat is from Crafty Emblies and was coloured with forest Moss.

We've got another busy day today - we're going on the dreaded shoe shop this morning for school shoes and then have friends coming for lunch and then Horse riding this afternoon. Lucy was given a lesson for her birthday last year and we're only just getting around to using it up!!! Penny will have a farm ride whilst Lucy has her lesson. Then it'll be Jujitsu in the evening for the girls and a run for me - phew - sounds exhausting!!!!
Hope you have a great Friday and thanks for dropping by!
