Had a wonderful day yesterday - if you ever go to Stoke make sure you visit the Potteries museum and art gallery - especially if you have kids - its brilliant. Here's some piccies:
They're wonderful costumes - sooo much fun - thanks so much to the museum - so well planned!
Anyway - onto todays card - this is a Christmas Humphrey!
The papers were free from a mag - I think they're raspberry road. The image was stamped and coloured with promarkers and then the image was cut with a spellbinders die and I used another one to cut a mat in silver mirri. I also used a die'sire die to cut the snowflakes. The sentiment is LOTV.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Crafters Companion:crafterscompanion animals
agoacpinkgemchallengeblog: diecuts and punches
totally gorjusstotallygorjuss: diecuts and punches
allsorts challengeallsortschallenge: use new crafty goodies (my spellbinders die has not been used before)

This is a gorgeous card hun xxx
ReplyDeleteReally beautiful card, love this humphrey image and the papers, shape and die cuts are all gorgeous. Your girls look adorable as always. Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog today hun, I don't think you will find much on tie dying with the pans as I haven't seen anyone else do it, I just experimented lol, but basically just cut out your fabric (I always fray all the edges) then bunch it up in the middle and tie bits of string (or elastic bands) around it at three or four places and then rub in the panpastels trying to cover as much as possible, you might find when you open it up that you want to tie it up again repeat the process as some of the fabric may not be covered if you do just make sure you tie the string in the same places as the first time, once you are happy spray well with hairspray to fix it =) xx
