Good morning lovelies! Hope you are well and happy - I just can't believe its Monday again already!!! How does it keep happening so fast! I'm sure this never happened when I used to teach lol!!!!
Well you were all right - Lucy had a ball - although she was absolutely shattered yesterday - I think it will take a little time for her to catch up with her lack of sleep but I think overall it was well worth it!!! Penny's got a forest school day today - they spend the day making dens and being very outdoorsy - so I guess she'll be tired too when I pick them both up from school!
Over at Seems a Little Sketchy there is a new sketch - and our sponsor this fortnight is Crafty Sentiments - I've used the sketch and the image Snowman-Song (that currently only costs £1.60 ) to make my card - here it is.
The papers are a combination of LOTV and some freebie Nitwits ones from a few Christmasses ago. The image has been coloured with promarkers and flitter added. I've used a Crafters Companion die to cut the large snowflake and the sentiment is hunkydory.
Here's the sketch I followed:
I'd like to enter the following challenges with this card:
ATSaddicted-to-stamps-challenge: Christmas
OSAATonestitchatatimechallenge: Winter wonderland

It is lovely that Lucy had such a great time, hope the weather holds for Penny though, it is bucketing down with rain here... The snowman image on your card is delightful, he looks so happy and the little robin is very cute. A really lovely card. Hugs, Anne x
ReplyDeleteHe's a happy snowman Rachel, a great crimbo card.
ReplyDeleteWeather was appalling yesterday for the GER and dreadful running conditions, so no BP's, 1.19 & 1.22, so not happy campers.

Rachel, as I look at your card I find myself looking forward to the bright crisp winter days ahead - I love your happy snowman and you have coloured him so subtly and beautifully, the touch of sparkle really emphasises the crsipness of the day. No wonder your little robin is chirping a happy tune. Really hoping your daughter has a great outdoors day - it's bucketing rain here today. Good luck in our challenge this week.
