Good afternoon lovelies! How are you? I hope you're well and happy. I had a fabulous day with my lovely mum although I was in trouble when I got home - I took the kids car seats by accident! So sorry to my lovely hubby and girls - they were stuck at home all day!
Here's what I bought at the show:
Can't wait to get in the attic tonight and get started on this little lot. It was a lovely day - I managed to see the lovely Anne over at LOTV - and some of those lovely paper pads snuck into my basket. I also met the lovely Sue from Imagination Crafts - I was really chuffed to finally meet her and she was so lovely! I also got to watch Barbara Gray and her masks and gelli plate - one of them went in my basket too - but thats gone away for Christmas. And Lindsay Mason too - her demos are brilliant. So all in all a great show and a lovely day.
Now the reason for the late post is that there's a new challenge staring at Craft a scene where the theme is foul weather including a bird in flight. Here's what I did:
Its not my best scene - but it does give the impression of bad weather! The stamps are from Sheena Douglass - the sheltering tree set. I used a home made mask to create the clouds and the another sheena stamp to create the effect of rain.
I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
Stamping Sensationssirstampalotchallenge: All Creatures great and small
Glitternsparkleglitternsparklechallengeblog: Monochromatic
Hope you have a wonderful day! Hugs Rachel xx
Rachel so glad you had a great day, oh you naughty mummy taking the car seats. My biggest nightmare so I have booster seat in both cars, mummy has in hers and same with daddy. I also made them buy for their horse lorry, you can't do with out them, when Anna was a very small baby and only one first car seat mummy went off with it to work, after that I had my own ones.
ReplyDeleteYour card is wonderful you can feel the stormy weather.
