take time to smell the roses

Good morning Lovelies! How are you today? I do hope you are well and happy! I am feeling good - I had my last Rainbows last night so thats Rainbows sorted until September - yipee! I do love it but its nice to not have to think about it!

Today I have a tag I made using a couple of Oakhouse studio stamps I bought when they had a sale the other week - I wanted something to join in with the pan pastel 'roses are a girls best friend' challenge.

I made the background by stamping the image with versa mark and brushing over red pan pastel. Once I was happy with the colour I fixed the background using spray and sparkle.

I made the roses by heating some UTEE in my meltpot and colouring it with cosmic shimmer tropic red and the remainder of the pink that I generated by heating the rudolph red wow powder with UTEE. I poured the melt into a mould from WOW powders that had 3 roses in it.  The leaves were cut using spellbinders die.

Finally - I stamped the sentiment onto card I had coloured with worn lipstick distress stain then I distressed around the edges.

I'd like to enter my tag into the following challenges:

Pan Pastelpanpasteluk: Roses are a girls best friend
Sunday Stamperpinkleart: Use a greeting
Stamping sensationssirstampalotchallenge: Summer Blooms
Funkie Junkiefrillyandfunkie - summer-heat: Summer heat

Before I go I just wanted to share a pic of Lucy in here tutu from the show - gorgeous tutu!!

Bless her!!!!

Thanks for dropping by today and I hope to see you again soon!

Hugs

Rachel xx
