Good morning lovelies! I hope you are well. We're all good and definitely ready for half term which starts here on Friday.
I had a good day with my ladies yesterday - we did the shaving foam and ink background method again and then made butterflies using film and fibre and put the two things together to make bookmarks:
I had a lovely evening too - i went down to a pampered chef evening in the village at a friends house. It was a 'pink' evening so all the 'commission' went to breast cancer - and we did have a lovely time too!!!!
Anyway - onto my post for today - this months challenge at crafters companion is baby - so i've made a baby card for my cousin in america whose wife is expecting their second child.
The image is from the party paws range - the sentiment and baby stamp are all on the same stamp sheet. I've coloured the image with promarkers and used spellbinders dies to cut the image. There's twine in the buttons and the paper is from my stash. I'm hoping my good blog buddy carol hasn't got her promarkers out trying to colour in my wallpaper - lol!!! Brilliant idea carol - it is distracting isn't it?
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges;

Totally Gorjusstotallygorjuss: String
Fussy and Fancyfussyandfancychallenge: Celebration
thanks for dropping by today and i hope to see you again soon! Big Hugs rachel xx

Autumn at Little Claire and a crafternoon with mum
Good morning lovelies - I hope you're feeling well and happy. If not have a big hug from me!!!!!
Its mad Thursday today - always busy but the lovely thing is a planned crafternoon with my mum - we're going to do another sheena tutorial - we did one on Tuesday - too - it was a relatively quick one involving embossing and inky fun. This is what I made:
It was a quick one to do - the card blank was embossed with the A4 maple leaf folder. A sheet of centura pearl was embossed with the 5x7 birds folder and cut to size. Another piece of centura pearl was inked with a mixture of distress inks and cosmic shimmer mist sprays applied with a sponge then embossed and the relief was inked with stazon. That's about it but a technique I will use again!
My other card for today had been made with the Little Claire challenge in mind - there is a sketch and the theme is autumn.
I've used a topper I won from Little Claire's august challenge and papers from hunkydory. The leaf diecuts are all from spellbinders.

Creative Inspirations: Anything goes with the option of a sketch
Good morning all - hope you are well. Thanks for your lovely comments on my card yesterday - I was very uncertain about it so it was good to read some positives. Thankyou! I had a lovely afternoon with my mum - we had a good old natter and got some crafting done too. Perfect.
This week's prize is from us and is the chance to be our GUEST DESIGNER FOR OCTOBER!
Here's what I did:
The image is from Crafty Sentiments - she's called Annabel-Sail-with-me and if you follow the link it will take you to the shop. I've coloured her with promarkers.and die cut using a spellbinders die. The papers are from the papermania 'ahoy' collection - they were a real bargain over at everycrafts a pound. I love that little lighthouse charm - that was from my stash - and the shells came from the beach!
Thanks for dropping by today and I hope you've enjoyed your visit. Hope to see you again soon! Big Crafty Hugs. Rachel xx

A Little Claire card
Morning all - thanks for your kind comments on my card yesterday - it really does make me feel happy to hear what you think. Thankyou!
I've got a little claire card to show you today - their current challenge is holidays - well this card represents a 'staycation' for me - a holiday at home!
I love this image - I've stamped it and coloured with promarkers then used DI tumbled glass to create the sky background. The image was then cut with a spellbinders die and mounted onto green. This was then mounted onto LOTV paper and the sentiment is also LOTV. The flowers are WOC.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

All things bright and beautiful!

I'm at the school fair this morning - we set up yesterday and its looking good - so hopefully lots of people will come and make it a success! Will let you know how it goes!
I've got a Mo Manning image to share with you today on a card for their bright colours challenge. What do you think?
I just adore this little guy - he's called baby fairy bee I think and you can get him from the Mo Manning digishop (here). I've coloured the image with promarkers and added glitter to his wings. The die is spellbinders and there's a memory box die that has cut the geen flower/vine on the lhs. The flowers I've added are from WOC. The sentiment is a squidgey pin banner and I've used spiced marmalade Distress stain to colour it.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Pattiespattiescreationschallenge: Summertime fun
Cute card Thursdaycutecardthursday: In the summertime
