Monotone at Little Claire

Hello lovelies! How are you this fine morning? Why so chirpy I hear you cry? Back to routine - that makes me at least know where I am!!!!

Today I've got my entry for the Little Claire Monotone challenge to share with you. I couldn't resist three of there recently released silhouette images - and I've used them all here.

They've all been made very similarly - stamped with versamark and heat set with black opaque wow powders then the background created using distress inks - with a moon masked off.

This one has been distressed directly onto the card too.

On this one I created a background using papers and added some flowers.

This one has backgrounds using papers and a rough bow made from garden twine.

I'd like to enter these cards into the littleclairesdesignsLittle Claire's monotone challenge.

Thanks for your kind comments yesterday - Penny's party went really well - and my glass of wine was just wonderful. Have a great Monday! Big Hugs Rachel xx

DT post for Creative Inspirations: CAS card

Morning lovely bloggers. I do hope you are well. I'm fighting fit and ready to go running today - wonderful how the body manages to recover isn't it? I had a lovely meal yesterday with my mum and dad - it was their 53rd wedding anniversary and we went to their local carvery. It was yum and a real treat! Oh yes - and I finally got the finishers photo from Sundays race. What do you think?

Over at Creative Inspirations cinspirations this week the theme is Clean & Simple! This week's prize is from CEDAR CHEST DE SIGNS who are giving away a
$10 GIFT CERTIFICATE!

Here's what I did:

Don't look too closely at the colouring - it was done in the caravan on holidayin poor light  - well thats my excuse and I'm sticking to it. The stamp is from Little Claire - the sentiment from LOTV. the colouring is with promarkers.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

A Little Claire card

Morning all - thanks for your kind comments on my card yesterday - it really does make me feel happy to hear what you think. Thankyou!

I've got a little claire card to show you today - their current challenge is holidays - well this card represents a 'staycation' for me - a holiday at home!

I love this image - I've stamped it and coloured with promarkers then used DI tumbled glass to create the sky background. The image was then cut with a spellbinders die and mounted onto green. This was then mounted onto LOTV paper and the sentiment is also LOTV. The flowers are WOC.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Danielle's card

Hello there - this is a scheduled post so I hope Mr blogger is behaving! Today I'm showing you the birthday card I made using Little Claire stamps for my good friend Danielle - its her birthday today - so she has her card already!

I made the card using my hougie board and then used the prima papers to cover the main panels. I stamped and coloured the main image with promarkers and distressed the edges with distress ink. I stamped the bottom panel and the corner pieces and used similar colours to that on the main image. Finally I stamped the sentiment which seemed very appropriate as Danielle has a daughter called daisy!

Hope you are well and happy and I'll try and catch up with you later - thanks for visiting today!

Happy Anniversary at Little Claire

Good morning all! I'm a happy lady today - My gorgeous hubby came back from his trip to Japan yesterday - so now I have my favourite people all back around me. And thats got to be good right?! Had another good run yesterday too - no run today but I'm hoping to do a class this evening.

Before I show you todays post just wanted to let you know about the August Deal over at craftysentimentsdesigns.

Today I've got a card/box to show you that I made especially for the challenge over at Little Claire - they're doing anniversaries this month and I've been thinking I'd use my swirly cats - but shock horror - they've disappeared - they're not where they should be - finally my laziness and untidiness has crept up with me and bit me on the bottom! Nevermind - I did find the stamp set I used today when hunting for them - so thats all good. This was a stamp set I think that came as part of the monthly stamp club that Little Claire runs - love this club - but don't always use the stamps immediately!!!

The stamps are all from the same set - I think its called 'you're so tweet'. The image has been coloured with promarkers and the flowers are WOC. The papers are from the lastest LOTV range - its the pink pad called 'always and forever'. I think its a gorgeous pad and am so glad its mine - some serious paper stroking going on! Lol! The box was made from a template given to me by my mum - they did it at her craft club - you make the drawer and a sleeve to go around it and finally add the easel on top.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Little Claire:littleclairesdesigns Anniversary
Lexis:lexiscreations Anniversary
addicted to stampsaddicted-to-stamps-challenge: wonderful wings

Thanks so much for dropping by today and for any comments you choose to leave - can I also say welcome to Hazel my newest follower - I do appreciate you sharing my crafty journey with me.

Little Claire's male challenge

Good morning all! Hope you're well - I'm good and have schedule this post due to a planned early run this morning - I'm hoping to do 7 miles this morning - I'll do it but it may be very ploddy if my experiece of Friday evening is anything to go by!

Did you have a good Saturday? I took Lucy to her final exam ballet lesson before her exam next Saturday - then we all piled down to Blackpool zoo for the rest of the day - we were quite late getting there and saw lots of different things today - my favourite was watching the lions and tigers feeding time - and the meercats too - there were two or three very young ones eating dead chicks - I don't know why but I was quite surprised. You live and learn!

Today I've got the card I did for the Little Claire challenge this month which is masculine:

Such a cute stamp - I couldn't resist this one! Aren't they fun! The hedgies and trampoline are coloured with promarkers and cut with a spellbinder die before using teadye DI around the edges. I've used smaller versions of the same die for the sentiment and a larger one for the matt. I've tried to keep the colours as two blues, brown and white. The background paper has been embossed with an 8x8 embossalicious folder. The band across the middle is done using a Martha Stewart punch.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Little Clairelittleclairesdesigns: Masculine
Polkadoodlespolkadoodle: Animals
ccccardcrafterscircle: Happy Birthday
Incy wincy incywincydesigns- bingo - diecuts, blue, 5 stamps (each word was separate)
AIartisticinspirationschallenges: Fur or feathers

Thats it for today - so excited by tomorrow - its the start of the new challenge blog at Imagination Crafts - I hope you're going to join us!

Thanks for visiting and for any comments you have left - they really are valued!

Big Hugs
