Playing with Sheena's new India stamps

Hiya everyone - how are you today? Did you have a good Sunday? We had fun - but I'll tell you about that later!

I've got the first two makes from my new Sheena stamps to share with you today.

This first one uses the tiger stamp set and the Jungle leaves embossing folder - I used the embossing folder to create the background - I used some LOTV paper and embossed it then added some treasure gold.

Then I stamped the jungle leaves onto a piece of card using DI - crushed olive and forest moss. I also cut out some of the leaves too.

The tiger was stamped onto another sheet and coloured with spectrum noirs - finally the sentiment was stamped and the card put together.

The second card was made using the stamping with glycerine technique that Sheena did in the demo on TV - this time I used the same folder that sheena used and the result is so effective.

The topper was made using the mandala stamp - I decoupaged it up. The stamping was done using versa mark and gold wow powders were added. Finally distress inks were used to colour the layers.

I just adore these stamps and embossing folders and have plenty more to share with you!!!

I would like to enter these into the following challenges:

Crafters Companion - masculine - facebookCraftersCompanion
Stamping sensationssirstampalotchallenge: Anything goes
Sunday Stamperpinkleart: Life (The tiger is wildlife - lol!!!)
we do doobadoo wedodoobadoo- lots of layers
my mums craft shopmymumscraftshop: Lots of layers

Now here's what we got up to yesterday -

Lol - it was the Morecambe Carnival - this poor chap was from one of the local leisure centres - giving away free swimming lessons - it was a bit nippy down on the prom! But he did well!

Here we are enjoying the weather!

This was my fave from the parade - I love the Green Man - brilliant model!

We've got more fun today - its Wray Fair - the peak of the Scarecrow festival - so its funfair and country show all rolled in to one! Should be a good one!

Hope you all have a good bank holiday Monday! Thanks for your visit today!

Big hugs

Rachel!
