At the seaside at Creative Inspirations

Morning lovelies - I hope you are well! I am tired I have to say! I hosted a pampered chef last night - my girls were involved in the cooking and they really enjoyed it. It went down well with those that came too! I will be happy when its tonight and I can go to sleep earlier! Lol!

Today I'm back to the cards - I'm showing you my inspiration piece for Creative Inspirations this week where the theme is Beside the Seaside!
All you need to do is create something with a nautical / seaside / beach theme or simply include some themed embellishments such as shells on your creations.

Here's what I did using a combination of Crafty Individuals stamps and also sheena douglass stamps.


I have to confess to being rather pleased with this particular card - I created the background using distress inks then stamped the shell images on top. The main image was stamped using sepia archival and a light dusting of panpastels on top to mirror the background blue and sand colours.

    Morning Rachel, This is a stunning card it is one of my favourite pieces of yours. I love the blues blending into the sandy colours like the sky meeting the beach, and the Sepia compliments it so well. Really nice stamps too. I also love the darker blue that you have chosen to mount it on and really make the whole thing pop out. Mo x
