Vintage shabby chic

Good morning all - I hope you are well! I had a lovely run yesterday but will be having a quiet day today - going to my mums to have a crafternoon! Not sure what we'll make yet but I'm sure it will be something or other. We have a craft pack to split between us too so that should be fun! Its nice to share!

My thanks goes out to Hazel who kindly sponsored me yesterday for my Great North run at the weekend -thanks so much Hazel - my charity total is now almost in place!! Big Hugs! Thanks also to those of you that have already sponsored me and that have sent well wishes too!!! It means a lot x

I'm not sure about todays card but I thought I would show it anyway - it fits into a few challenges!

I started with a blank piece of card and used versa mark to stamp around the edge then added clear powders and heat embossed. The stamp from the edge is from the indigo blu set called bloomin great. After that I inked up the edges with victorian velvet DI using cut and dry foam. Then I stamped the words 'let your soul and spirit fly - another indigo blu stamp from a words set - again in victorian velvet. I added the lace around the edge then mounted onto brown card and then onto a 8 x 8 inch card. The heart in the centre was coloured with victorian velvet again and I stamped some more indigo blu patterns in black. I stamped the flower from the bloomin' great set in victorian velvet and added clear embossing powder then heat set. This image I cut out and stuck to the heart then added a crafty emblies bird. Finally I added the last heart die cut is a dusky pinky card and stamped with the indigo blu sentiment.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Simon says monday challengesimonsaysstampblog: Embossing
Fashionable stamping challengefashionablestampingchallenges: Can you resist?

Thanks for looking and I hope to see you again soon!
