Afternoon all! Well I'm getting a bit more organised now although I'm still not organised enough to upload any holiday pictures yet - that may well have to wait until tomorrow - but I can tell you it took a good 10 hours to get back yesterday - with only two stops!!!! We thought it was going to be worse though because it took us over 5 hours to go 140 miles - its always impossible to get out of Cornwall!
Anyway - back to today! I had lots of inky fun making this card - it uses stamps from Sheena Douglass - the moon/clouds and the landscape are both in the same set. I stamped and masked the moon then I made the background - using some dylusions sprays added with a sponge and then some radiant rain sprays - again added with a sponge to make up the background. Once dry I added the main stamped images and highlighted where the moon would shine using a white pen.
The challenge at craftascene starts today and is entitled Dusk to Dawn. We would like you to craft a scene with moonlight/dusk/dawn as the time of day.
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Simon says: simonsaysstampblogAG
Card crafters circle:cardcrafterscircle For the boys
the male roomthemaleroomchallengeblog: The great outdoors
Thanks for dropping by and for all of your lovely comments - its so nice that so many of you managed to drop by when I was on holiday too - it really made my week lovely!
Big Hugs and hope to see you again later!

Stunning card Rachel - love the colours. Hugs, Claire x
ReplyDeleteI love the colours you've used in this scene Rachel, and the moody feeling to the sky. Glad you got home OK after your long journey. It takes us about 4 hours from here in Hampshire to get to Cornwall (we'll be doing it in three weeks time). When going to Yorkshire it takes us about 6 hours, so 10 sounds about right.
