Proud as a Peacock

Good morning lovelies! Well I was going to go to my fitness class today - but since I'm doing gardening club at lunchtime and there's so much cleaning to do before Shaun's mum arrives tomorrow - I'm giving myself the day off class. It feels good!

Todays card was made at the crafternoon with my mum on Tuesday - such fun!!!

I started by using a piece of imagination craft card and the peacock feather background mask by that special touch. I used versamark through the mask then removed the mask and added WOW powder - the blue sparkle one that I bought at chloe's stall in Doncaster. I heat set the powder and that created the background.
Next I used a piece of cream card and added  versamark through the dreamweaver peacock  stencil and then repeated the blue sparkle powders and heat set. Then I added more versamark and used a green verdigris embossing powder and reheated. Then I cut out and added the gems and added the topper to the background. After matting and layering I added the feathers and then added the large gem. So what do you think? I'm a happy bunny with this one!

I'd like to enter this card into the wowembossingpowders decadence challenge and the sunday stampers (pinkleart) bird challenge - there's not much stamping though - only the sentiment lol!!!! I'd also like to enter this into the simonsaysstampblog-emboss-it challenge.

Thanks for visiting today and for any comments you leave - I hope to see you again soon!

Big Hugs

Rachel xx
