SALS 48: a new sketch with elizabeth bennett

Good morning Lovelies! Well what a day it was yesterday.

Photo: This was me at the start. It took 30 mins to cross the startline and another 2 hours and 18 minutes to ctoss the finish line. Tis done" yipee x

This is me at the start of the race - I haven't managed to get a piccie yet from the end of the race but if its not too revolting I'll put it on the next blog post!!! The run was great - we got there in plenty of time and then did the warm up and got running eventually - it took half an hour before I crossed the start line but then I could amble along quite happily - luckily the day wasn't as bad as predicted - infact for runing I would go as far as to say it was pretty perfect! Anyway - I finished in 2 hours and 18 minutes - not too bad really - quite chuffed! The rain came down once I'd finished and I had problems finding my coach but that aside it was a fab day - thanks so much to eveybody who supported me!

Over at SALS seemsalittlesketchy this morning we're starting a new challenge. Here's the sketch:

We're sponsored by sassystudiodesigns - the prize is 4 digis of your choice. I used the digi called Elizabeth Bennett.

She's a beautiful image and a dream to colour. I've used promarkers to colour her then used aged mahogony Distress ink around the edge and finally some frantage - I'm still needing to work on that but its getting better! The papers are LOTV from the always and forever set. The flowers are WOC and the ribbon was from the ribbon girl.

  17. Fab result Rachel and so glad you managed to miss the rain too. Gorgeous card, so glad you finally got to play with Elizabeth Bennett - she really is a beauty and wonderful to colour.
I think you could also enter this card into the Wild Orchid crafts challenge - if those mats are die cuts and the flowers are from their shop - just another one that might interest you. Rest well today xx
