Welcome Tripp!

Hello Lovelies! Well as you all imagined Windermere was cold yesterday - but it wasn't as bad as I had imagined - the swim was short and invigorating - I found it very tricky and can't see me joining in any of the race swims any time soon - but I have my new wetsuit - and am looking forward to a swim at fellfoot park once the girls go back to school. I need to figure out where to put my car keys though!!!! Any ideas????

On Friday Shauns' sister Jane gave birth to a baby boy - she's called him Tripp Edwin Golder. I know not where Tripp comes from - the Edwin was her and Shauns dads name. Its nice that she has remembered her dad. Anyway - here's the card and tag I have made to send to her.

Both were done using ideas from the Marjie Kemper course I have been doing - I've only done two lessons so far and am enjoying it so very much!!! These include the Tim Holtz baby blueprint stamps and the techniques of using household objects to create the funky circles and lines in acrylic paint.

I hope Jane likes these! I love them!!!! I'd like to enter these into the following challenges:

Have a great bank holiday Monday whatever you do. Me and the girls are off to visit my friend Julia - we're hoping to book a holiday to Cornwall in the summer holidays - then we'll have lunch at Bella Italia - I have vouchers to use!

Big hugs

Rachel xx

  3. Such a lovely baby boy card Rachel and I have to say I like the name Tripp. I am sure the parents will appreciate this lovely card.
I have no experience with wetsuits, but how about on a string round your neck underneath the suit?

  4. I think Jane and her hubby will love them - such an unusual name, I don't think I have ever heard that one before but it is nice to be a bit different. I am afraid that in my wetsuit days I didn't have a car but I like Astrid's idea but would be a little concerned if your key is an electronic type.... I think it might be better to take a friend... Hugs, Anne xx

  6. Gorgeous Rachel, I've been looking at these blue print stamps for a while now. Tripp is a lovely name although I've not heard it before. I don't know what to suggest regarding the keys, as they're all electronic these days it does pose a bit of a problem. Have a great day and enjoy your lunch.

  15. These are gorgeous Rachel, your inking is fabulous. You can buy waterproof cases/boxes for phones and such like so may find one to fit your keys, other than that the only suggestion is a magnetic box under your car. Carol x
