One layer at Indigo Blu

Hello lovelies! Bank holiday Monday is upon us! I must say its been a lucky weekend for me - aswell as my timmy win I've had lucky wins over at the artistic stamper and sweet stampin plus two top threes (panpastel - we love to create and allsorts). Feeling very lucky and proud to say the very least. I think maybe not having any particular focus for my crafting is suiting me!

I hope you are having a good weekend - we managed to get to Morecambe yesterday - I had a soggy run but thankfully things had dried up for the carnival and fun fair that followed. The girls both had fun and so did my mum.

It was lovely to see all the effort that had gone into the floats - they looked brilliant!

So today I have a card I am not very happy with - I enjoyed making it but I'm not happy with the outcome - I thought I would show it anyway - I will still enter it for the indigo blu challenge but I will do another one too!!!

I masked off the top and bottom then created the scene in the middle by stamping the stump and squirrel, masking and stamping the ferms then creating the background.

Then I masked the middle section and created the top and bottom using distress and limor circle stamps. Finally I added a sentiment from Indigo blu.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

Have a great bank holiday monday!!!Enjoy whatever you are doing - I've got a run first thing then I'm hoping to take the girls to the scarecrow festival in Wray. Weather permitting of course!!!

Big Hugs

Rachel xx

  15. Looks like you all had fun this weekend! Congratulations on your wins/top places .... I always find the ones that are chosen really encouraging as it means somebody else likes my projects! This is such a sweet scene and a cute squirrel. Well done on your running - 4.5km on the "trotmill" was rather a struggle this morning!
