Today I want to share with you an unsuccessful make - unsuccessful for joining a sample making team - but hey ho - I'm happy anyway!!!!
Here's the final piece and here's the tutorial.
Using distress paint in colours seedless preserves, dusty concorde, mustard seed and squeezed lemonade - squeeze out blobs onto craft mat and swish paper through. Add water and move around until happy. Dry.
Use dusty concorde and mustard seed distress ink to fill in any white gaps that you don't want.
Cut a piece of the background card the size you want to use. Stamp onto it in versa mark using the perspectives butterfly. Add black wow powders then heat emboss.
Next make a mask using a post it note.
Add stencil over the masked butterfly and add embossing paste. While the embossing paste is still wet apply wow powders and allow to fully dry - several hours at least. Once dry heat emboss the powders.
Meanwhile, on another piece of the card repeat the stamping of the butterfly and the sentiment. Curl the butterfly around to give it dimension and allow the lower butterfly to still be seen underneath. Apply these to complete the card.
I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial.
Have a great Saturday!
Big hugs
Rachel xx
