First we looked at the scarecrows - the theme this year was fantasy - this was, of course, maleficent!
And this was the BFG! There were lots of others but we moved on to the fair ....
where there were donkey rides and ...
bouncy rides and of course facepainting:
wow!!!! Lots of fun was had by all and after the walk home and mowing the lawns we finished the day with tea at the local pub!!! It was a great day!
So onto todays make - its one of the little shelf units that Tracy Dutton from Lavinia designed for imagination crafts.
I did a base coat in IC MDF paint then top coat in some pebeo acrylic paint.I used black gesso to paint the cat. Next I used an IC stencil and black soot distress ink to create some interest in the frame. Finally I used black stars sparkle medium on top of the cat.

Love your MDF shelf (I bought these too) the cat seems to sparkle but you have not mentioed if you've done this with something, or if it just happened like that. Great photos of the girls enjoying themselves at the fair, love the painted face.
