Good morning! Hope you are well! I've got a horribly busy day today so if I don't get around to visit until later I apologise - its day camp with brownies/guides/rainbows 9.30-1pm - then I've got a half hour journey to take my girls across to Morecambe where they have two shows - one at 2.30 and the other 6.30. Thankfully they're only going to be short shows (75 mins approximately) and mum lives in Morecambe so I'm going there between shows! Its a bit of a mad day but this one and tomorrow - when I'm off to summer crafting at Doncaster with my mum - should be the last of the crazy days for a while I think!!!!
My friend Michelle is going off on holiday today to Rhodes - she's going with her fella Dave and their two sons Nathan (4) and Aaron (7). On Monday Michelle and Dave are finally getting married - its so wonderful for them!!! This is the card
made for them!
I had such fun making this card - first I stamped in grey staz-on onto some neenah card the LOTV background vintage stamp with the dragon fly on it - twice. Then I squirted some distress paint onto my craft mat (aged mahogony and antique linen), spritzed with water and swooshed my stamped card through it. After drying \i added aged mahogony DI using cut and dry foam to fill any gaps and around the edges. Then I stamped the main image and coloured with promarkers - stamped the two LOTV sentiments then did some diecutting using all spellbinders dies - put it all together on the card - added a few flowers and it was done.
I hope they have a wonderful time - so romantic!!!!

Hi Rachel, what a sweet card, im sure your friends will love it! Another busy day for you then, we had a holiday in Morcombe several years ago......stayed at a caravan park near a big power station thingy, really liked it there and from there we travelled up to the lakes which was wonderful.
