Crafty Sentiments Christmas release - Card Preview

Morning all! Hope you are well - perfect weather here and its funny as I'll be starting a preview of the Crafty Sentiments Christmas stamps that will be released on wednesday next week. On the Inspirational site - here - we've got 2 days of cards previews (sat and Sunday) then 3 days of makes not involving cards (mon-weds). There's a chance to win 4 stamps on one day and on each day there's the chance to win a GDT spot.  There are 25 stamps coming out in total and also some accent dies- and they're so cute - the team has worked so hard and made some truely amazing items - you'll be able to check out all the images on the inspirational site over the next few days - and there is a fabulous pre-order offer on in store right away - I did the preorder for the summer stamps and I wasn't disappointed!!! And I've done this pre-order too!

So here's my first offering of the new images - a card featuring a real cutie:

Isn't she a cutie? So the image was coloured with promarkers and fussy cut then mounted onto a circle of card. I used the same card as backing paper on an 8x8 inch card. The rosette was made using a4 paper cut 14cm wide - two of these strips were glued together on the short end and then scored on the hougie board at 1/2 inch intervals. I then folded the strip up and glued the ends together to make a rosette. The topper was glued to the top of the rosette and the rosette onto the card. Finally I added a bow and greeting.

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Crafty Catzcraftycatzweeklychallenge: Childs Play
Divasdivasbydesignchallenge: Cute
MMCSmymumscraftshop: Just for girls
CHNC extra Julycraftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge2: AG
craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge: card suitable for a child.
totallygorjuss: AG with circles

The bingo went well last night - we had about 25 people attending and managed to raise about 40 pounds - every little helps - next PTA event is Sports day on Tuesday - I don't know who's going to be more glad its the holidays soon - me or the girls!

Thanks for dropping by and hope you have a great Saturday - we've got another busy one - lol!!! Lucy has her ballet exam this morning - then there's a fair on at the local nursery where Lucy and Penny both went when they were younger - and finally we're involved in a safari meal in the evening - a group of 20 villagers - including me and my girls - are going around to 4 houses for a course at each house! I suspect we'll leave after desert though as it will be very late!

Hope to see you again soon!

Hugs
Rachel xx
