Christmas in July at Crafty Sentiments

Good morning all! I hope you are still enjoying the sunshine - I'm praying that it holds for the day here as its sports day at school today - so that will be another busy afternoon making teas for the PTA!

At Crafty sentiments today there's a new challenge starting - its Christmas in July - all ready to coincide with the new releases that are being previewed on the Inspirations site here and should be in the shop on the 10th.
The challenge prize is this wonderful stamp:









And don't forget there's a chance to win a 2 month GDT spot on the Inspirational site too!

I'm showing my challenge piece first - this is a gift box I made all ready for the festive season:



The image is coloured with promarkers and the sentiment is LOTV. The reindeer is from a marianne die and the snowflake came from my stash. The papers I've used to cover the box are from Papermania - from the signature collection.

I've got another piece going live at 10am on the inspirational blog but I thought I would combine the two posts here - so here's my inspirational post bag:


This image is called Jingle bells and is one of my favourites from the release - but thats difficult to say as there are so many fabulous images! I've coloured her with promarkers and cut using a spellbinders die.

    These are gorgeous Rachel. I love the cute images and fabulous designs.
    I hope you enjoy the sports day. I seem to remember loads of events being called off last year due to the rain so hopefully it will stay fine this time.

    Your box is gorgeous and I love the bag too - great use of the Spellbinders on the bag -such a professional look. We have Sports day tomorrow, I shouldn't say it but I do feel sorry for the kids charging about in this heat.... hoe yours goes well. Hugs, Anne x

    Both of these projects are wonderful. The Santa and bear image is done up beautifully and looks great on the box and love the purples you've used look awesome on that sweet bear.
