Good morning all! Are you enjoying this fabulous summer weather we're having ? It was a hot one for sports day yesterday but at least we got sports day this year! Lucy got 2nd in the skipping race - and last in the sack race lol! Penny got 2nd in the egg and spoon! Bless her and she didn't even cheat this time!

I'm very pleased with my card for this one - it features a digi from simply Betty Stamps - I won 5 images a few weeks ago and I must say they're all fabulous!
I've made the beach scape from layers of paper plus some fabric that was tied around a bunch of flowers. The image has been coloured with promarkers and fussy cut. The sky was made by inking over a cloud template - its something I need practice at but I'm getting better - need to get some make up sponges and make mushrooms like good ol Barbara Gray! I think thats the key!
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
PMSpapermakeupstamps: AG
Lacy Sunshinelacysunshinechallengeblog: AG
Polka doodlespolkadoodle: Make ur own background
divasbydesignchallenge: charming
momentsofcraft: Creative moments - Summer holidays
Thats all for now but back later with my final offering for the new releases from Crafty Sentiments.
Thanks for dropping by!
Hugs

ReplyDeleteSo much for my voice recognition program this morning, it messed up that comment completely Rachel.
ReplyDeleteIt was sports day here as well yesterday and yes it was very warm. Three of my offspring are doing a 60 K or mile, not certain which in the Peak District at the weekend, whichever distance it is I think they've totally lost the plot in this weather.
I've been back and had a closer look at your card and am fascinated the way you created the sand with the fibre, it's so effective.
