Life's a journey

Good morning all you lovely crafty people out there in blogland. Hope you are all feeling well and are able to visit a macmillan coffee morning today. We've got one on that I shall be doing the teas and coffees for from 10-12 at my kids school - then it will be time for gardening club - feels like I'm working there some days!!!!

I've got another new Sheena (new to me) stamp to share with you today - but I'm not too sure about my card - its a bit of a mish mash of everything and I don't feel it quite gels - there are elements of it I love but the whole ensemble - well I'll let you see what you think! Its the work of my lovely crafternoon with my mum yesterday....

I started by stamping my tag with the sheena stamp then distressed it using DI tea dye.I used my mums splodgeaway mat - what a fabulous item - I must have one!!!  Then I sprayed my pure sunshine dylusion spray onto my clock mask onto kraft card. when dry I distressed the clock too and cut it out. The mat behind the bike and tag on the left is kraft card embossed with a couture world map embossing folder. At the back is some Tim Holtz paper distressed further with tea dye. The words were printed out on the computer and distressed and the gears were cut by spellbinders dies. The wooden goodies are from crafty emblies - and the netting formerly held sweet potatoes!

I'd like to enter my mish mash into the following challenges:
TSBthestampingboutiquechallengeblog: Embossing

  1. Hi Rachel, I don't see a mish mash at all, I see lots of items that go up to make journeys, so it matches the sentiment perfectly. Methinks you are being a bit hard on yourself - something I would never do - lol! Crafty hugs, Anne x
