Dawn's Challenge

Good morning all! I hope you are well? I'm glad to report that my headache has eased - nasty stuff that caffeine! Today I'm here to remind you about a special challenge that started last week on my Crafty Pad Buddy dawn's site. You may or may not be aware but her mum is going through cancer therapy at the moment and Dawn has been trying to raise funds and awareness - on Saturday she had her head shaved for her cancer charity and at last count had raised £1800. That's absolutely fabulous Dawn! Well done you!
In addition Dawn has created a challenge on her site where you can enter and have a chance to win some amazing prizes. For details of the challenge see here:

My card has been made using the Dude time doodles image Corset 1. I've sent this card off already to a friend who is in a similar position to Dawn. Her mum is just starting cancer treatment - so this one's for you and your mum Danielle - stay strong!
I've printed out the image and coloured using promarkers, punched out the holes and thread ribbon through. Then I've used liquid pearls to create the studded look and added feathers at the bottom. The sentiment is one from The crafty pad that is a freebie that you can get here. you could even enter your card into the Crafty Pad challenge at the same time!

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

divasbydesignchallenge Friendship
thepoodlesparlour: Here come the girls
allsortschallenge: Layers
bearlymine-challenges : anything goes

That's all for now folks - hope you'll check out and enter Dawn's challenge - its a fabulous thing she's doing and deserves all the support she can muster!

Big Hugs

Rachel x
