My new Blog Journal

Good Morning all - I'm scheduling this on Wednesday for Thursday morning - I'm off to the craft show at the trafford centre annexe today so won't be online until later.

Today I've got a journal I've made to make keeping track of challenges a little more simple. I write them down on bits of paper and they get left all over the place - so now I have my jazzy new journal to keep track of all the ongoing challenges that I could enter!

The whole thing was really a response to the Hels Sheridan - I predict a riot challenge over at the Sunday Stampers - where she's asking for a riot of colour! I used shabby shutters distress stain on some cut to size grunge paper and then added spritz of radiant rain in purple, yellow, blue and red, then I worked in some distress inks and did some back ground stamping. Then I added the birdcage from crafty-emblies and the writing using the new lesson stamps from Clarity. Finally I spritzed the flowers and added them and the leaves!

I'd like to enter my journal into the following challenges:

Sunday stamperspinkleart.blogspot.co.uk: I predict a riot
steampunkjunkies: Anything goes
vintageelusionscardscrafts: Things with wings
bearlymine-challenges: Anything goes.

Here's hoping me and my mum have fun at the craft fair today!

Big Hugs and thanks for stopping by and for any comments you leave!

Hugs

Rachel xx

  6. Oh Rachel, I have a very sad face (big pout). We went to the TC today and when I saw the craft fair I went in, we probably passed each other several times! I thought it was very good, although I did sit down more than I walked around. Love your journal, great colours and the birdcage is brilliant. Great idea to keep things in one place, very sensible. Crafty hugs, Anne x
