swimmingly good

Morning all! I hope you are all well and happy - just wanted to say thanks for all your lovely comments - you're a great bunch!
Well today's offering is made using a stamp from Crafty sentiments Designs - I just fell in love with it - and now I've used it I think its very versatile and should get plenty more use!

I've used the handmade paper from yesterday in the bottom half of the card and added a stamp from Chrissy at Less is more tomake seaweed. Then I added the shells and the ribbon and sentiment. In the main picture I've used more handmade paper that I've also spritzed and then distressed at the edges and stuck some of the original paper on to form seaweed again. The image was coloured with promarkers and I've added liquid pearls to make the bubbles. The sentiment is from a HM decoupage sheet.

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:
simonsaysstampschallenge:put a stamp on it  stamptember
DTDdudetimedoodles: Use two or more blues
CSDcraftysentiments: male card
My mums craft shopmymumscraftshopchallenges: anything goes
Crafting for all seasonscraftingforallseasons: for a child
A gem of a challengepinkgemchallengeblog: a boy thing.

Back tomorrow with something different from the scrapbook stamp society.

Happy Thursday!

Hugs

Rachel xx

  5. Hi Rachel, this is a brilliant shaped card and that handmade paper looks fabulous against the Kraft background. Well done on the bubbles, they look amazing and that image is just so cute. Love the addition of the shells too, really finishes the whole card off without detracting from the main image. Love it! Crafty hugs, Anne x
