DT post for The Crafty Pad: Scraptastic stamping

Good morning crafty friends and followers - and I trust you are well? I am feeling good after my bootcamp yesterday and will be on my way for more punishment today when this post comes out - seriously though - it was good fun yesterday - about 20 ladies in all - in a park - doing sit ups and push ups on the wet grass - running and team games - and a play on the adventure playground at the end! Great fun!

Anyway - onto this morning - over at thecraftypad we have a new challenge - called Scraptastic stamping - well I wasn't entirely sure what this was but Estelle assures me that when she set the challenge she had using up scraps in mind - so that's what I've done. Before I show you my card there's the small matter of thanking everyone who entered the 'anything but square' challenge last week - the entries were amazing! Pop back on Thursday to find out if you've been lucky!

This week we have two sponsors

Lili of the Valley have supplied a prize - a £10 voucher

The Stamping Boutique has supplied a prize of three digi images of the winners choice

okay - so here is my card - I was lucky enough to get to use an LOTV image this week called 'a christmas gift' which can be found here.

The image is coloured with promarkers and glittered up using ultrafine glitter from MCS and a glue pen. The scraps of paper are from WRS. The snoflakes are cut from spellbinders dies and the sentiment is also LOTV.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Anything goes CBanythingchallenge: Early Christmas
abcchristmaschallenge: R is for recycling: the charm was pinched from a card sent to me last year!
audsentimentschallengeblog: Christmas
Crafty catzcraftycatzweeklychallenge: Christmas
Delicious Doodlesdeliciousdoodleschallenge: Celebrations

Thankyou for dropping by today and for any comments you may leave!

Hugs

Rachel xx

  1. Hi Rachel, I have to admit I did wonder what torture you might be going through yesterday, but it sounds like it was not too bad and that you had fun! Your card is beautiful, love that LOTV image and well done for using up scraps, must try that sometime - lol. Have a good day. Crafty hugs, Anne x

  7. Afternoon Rachel - to me your play in the park sounds like the worst torture ever but then I do have health issues so I think that's allowed! Love how you've coloured your LOTV image and she's so pretty. Wonderful way to use up scraps. Enjoy day two of your torture Karen x
