Learning to do cable

Evening all! Hope you have had a good day. I have been at work all day but it has been fine - I feel like I am starting to settle in. It is hard work but at least I am getting some pennies to put in the pot! Got to be good!

I have been learning to knit over the last year and last week I did a class where I learned to do cabling - what a fab technique - and so simple really! I made a tissue holder - here it is progress ...

And the finished article....

I am pleased with this!

Hope you have had a good Monday - looking forward to Cold Feet tonight ...its like having old friends around!

Big hugs

Rachel xx

  1. This is brilliant Rachel, I haven't done any knitting for years, perhaps I ought to get the needles out and give it a go!
