As you can see the snow was pretty much on its way out then! Still. It was nice to see.
We also went along to see my dad in hospital yesterday - he was very confused but more mobile. We're hoping he'll be home today.
I would like to share a card I made today with the Crafty Individuals challenge in mind. I had lots of fun making the background on the card with distress inks and stencils and snowflake paperartsy paint.
The topper is a fairy stamp from Crafty Individuals - I stamped it in potting soil archival ink and cut it out before adding to a mat and adding lace behind. I also added some pretty wooden buttons and the scrabble letters to spell the world beauty.
I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
I've had a nice run this morning and been to my weightlifting at the gym - deadlifted 55kg today so feeling quite pleased!
Have a great day!
Hugs

ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable card Rachel. The image looks so pretty with the lace around it.
ReplyDeleteLooks as if fun was had making those super snowmen. We had snow here Saturday night and it's all gone today. The only way you'd know there had been snow is where there are snowmen's bodies melting!
I'm glad that you found your dad stronger. He's bound to be confused having been in and out of hospital then back in again. I hope he's soon home again. Hugs to you all. Barbxx
And great fun was had by all, fab photo of the girls, not a flake in sight here. Lovely card as well Rachel.

ReplyDeleteBeauty is exactly the right word for your lovely lacy card - so pretty. And I love the snowmen - that's the trouble with snow here, though - you build a snowman and that's all the snow gone!!
