Roses at the Sunday Stamper

Hello there!

Well all being well we should be travelling home today after a great few days away!!!! Fingers crossed - as this is a scheduled post!

I want to show you what I made for the Sunday stamper this week - infact there isn't much in the way of stamping on it - just a little bit of script on the tub - other than that its largely made from the those beautiful secret garden papers that I had to use as soon as I saw the challenge was Roses.

The tin originally held Joules body wash souffle - have your tried it? Its fabulous stuff - highly recommend it - anyway once finished the tub was washed and dried and given a coating of gesso followed by pink pebeo acrylic paint. Once dry I used the script stamp then cut images of roses from the papers and stuck these at intervals around the side. I've used a crafty sentiments doily die to cover the lid then a chipboard piece and 3 roses I made using the tattered florals flower method from Hels and more graphics 45 papers. Once made they were dunked in UTEE in the meltpot and allowed to cool. The card is simply made from the graphic s 45 papers and a little lace - those papers are so pretty.

I'd like to enter this into the sunday-stamper-week-280 challenge.

Big Hugs and hopefully back to normal tomorrow!
