Sneak peak of new releases at Crafty Sentiments

Good morning to you! How are you today? Good I hope! We're all good and happy to report that the jumble sale raised about £165 yesterday - which isn't bad at all - I think we'll do that again some time.

Well I've got two posts today both scheduled for the same time - never had that before - I wonder what will happen? I guess I'll soon see!

This post is a sneak peak for the New release at Crafty Sentiments - there are some beautiful images in this release and they'll be in store on 22nd January.

New Release

I got the image called 'I Love you' to play with and I thought it would be fun to alter a letter rack - for all those love letters I get - lol! (not)......

I've coloured my image in using speccies and covered the MDF letter rack with papers from the secret garden series from Graphics 45. The flowers on the rack are made using an Imagination crafts stencil and texture paste. I pasted through the stencil onto my craft sheet, lifted and cleaned the stencil and left the paste to dry. Once dry they just peeled away from the craft sheet. I've added some pretty metal centres to the flowers and also added a dragonfly charm.

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Hugs

Rachel xx

Bryan's card

Good morning all! How are you? I hope you are well and happy! I'd like to thank you for all your lovely comments on my box yesterday - you are very kind! Thanks so much!

I'm off to get the horrible truth about the Christmas weight gain this morning. I've been on the diet for over a week now so I hope - since I've been very good - that the truth won't be quite as bad as it would have been without this week!!! This weight has to go - I lost about 2 and 1/2 stone 4 years ago and about a stone of that has crept back on again - time to do something about it!

Onto todays card - its for my nephew Bryan who lives in Scotland - he must be about mid twenties now - I lose track.

I went with a steam punk theme as you can see and mixed papermania products with some graphics 45 steampunk spells paper.

A quick card and a quick post! Hope you have a fabulous day! Big Hugs! Rachel x

Roses at the Sunday Stamper

Hello there!

Well all being well we should be travelling home today after a great few days away!!!! Fingers crossed - as this is a scheduled post!

I want to show you what I made for the Sunday stamper this week - infact there isn't much in the way of stamping on it - just a little bit of script on the tub - other than that its largely made from the those beautiful secret garden papers that I had to use as soon as I saw the challenge was Roses.

The tin originally held Joules body wash souffle - have your tried it? Its fabulous stuff - highly recommend it - anyway once finished the tub was washed and dried and given a coating of gesso followed by pink pebeo acrylic paint. Once dry I used the script stamp then cut images of roses from the papers and stuck these at intervals around the side. I've used a crafty sentiments doily die to cover the lid then a chipboard piece and 3 roses I made using the tattered florals flower method from Hels and more graphics 45 papers. Once made they were dunked in UTEE in the meltpot and allowed to cool. The card is simply made from the graphic s 45 papers and a little lace - those papers are so pretty.

I'd like to enter this into the sunday-stamper-week-280 challenge.

Big Hugs and hopefully back to normal tomorrow!

Anything goes at Crafty Sentiments

Hello there! How are you all? I hope you are well and happy - we are busy today - we have dental appointments, then a visit to my mums before getting home for an appointment with a company coming to see if they can do anything about a condensation problem in the house. And then we have to pack before we start our journey south tomorrow to Bristol. Its all excitement here!

There's a new challenge starting over at craftysentiments - its an anything goes week - so I hope you enjoy joining us and joining in. I've used an image I think from the last release but one - Twinkle fairy that you can get here. She's gorgeous. I've combined her with some papers from graphics 45 and a good dose of frantage. She's coloured with promarkers.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

C.R.A.F.T. trimmiescraftchallengerecipe challenge
