Midway post for Imagination Crafts: Glitter and sparkle

Hello there - this is the first of two posts for me today - midway inspiration for the Glitter and Sparkle Challenge at Imagination Crafts. Anybody can enter but if you want a shot at the prize you need to use something from Imagination Crafts.

Here's what I did:

The frame came from any crafts a pound and I started by giving it a coat of gesso followed by a coat of dark blue acrylic paint. Then I used an Imagination crafts stencil and white acrylic paint and did the swirly leaf design - once dry I repeated with the diamond sparkle medium. Finally I die cut some flowers and brayered with the sparkle medium to cover them then added them to the frame. The gems I added to the flower centres are from chloes.

I'd like to enter the following challenges with my frame:

Happy Campershappycamperscc: Glitter it
panpastelpanpasteluk-altered: altered media

Back later with another inspirational post for CCAYR. Thanks for dropping by and I hope to see you again soon.

Big Hugs Rachel xx

  8. This is gorgeous Rachel. I may 'pinch' your idea and try to get a couple of cheap wooden frames to 'tart up' for my mum. Love that Sparkle Medium and that is going to be at the top of my Xmas list this year, thankfully already got some Imagination Crafts stencils xx
