remember

Morning to all you lovely people in blogland. I hope you are well and had a good Saturday. We had a relaxed Saturday that imvolved swimming for the kids and their dad and crafting for me.... then I took the girls to a birthday party - and then the day seemed to be pretty much over! Doesn't time fly?

I've got to take Lucy to her first Jujitsu grading today - everybody seems to think that getting the grade is a matter of course - so hopefully I'll be posting a picture of her tomorrow in her new belt! Fingers crossed!

Onto today's card - it is of course, rememberance Sunday - and since I was making a card for the poppies challenge at CSD is seemed only fitting to post it today - so here it is.

The image is called innocence and is from Crafty Sentiments Designs - I think she's stunning and goes well with the whole theme of the card to remember those who selflessly gave their lives for us. I've coloured the image using promarkers. The poppies along the bottom have been cut by spellbinders dies and have black pearls for their centre. The others are from Sheena Douglass - the top one printed from Sheenas CDROM and the bottom one is actually one of the transfers - just cut around - I just haven't been able to get on with the transfer technique sadly!

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

CSD craftysentiments: Poppies
cardcrafterscircle: We remember
simonsaysstampschallenge: Thinking of you/sympathy
deliciousdoodleschallenge Remembering
Creative Inspirationscinspirations: Red for remembrance
Crafts and Mecraftsandmechallenges: Red
Passion for promarkerspromarkerchallenge: In the garden.
thatcraftplaceblog: red for remembrance

That's all for today - thanks for joining me on my crafty Journey and I hope you have a wonderful Sunday.

Hugs

Rachel xx
