Hello there lovely blogland people - how are you? Well I hope! I'm feeling a bit like I'm starting to come down with something but I must fight it - can't give in can you?
Today I've got a card I'm calling nativity that has a fabulous image on it from Jellypark - I won this image ages ago on their challenge and I've been itching to colour it up - well finally I've done it! I think its an adorable image - what do you think?
So its got the shepherds and the kings on there so I'm hoping that will qualify for the winter wonderland challenge this week! The image is coloured with promarkers and I've cut it out using a spellbinders die and then distressed with faded jeans whilst the image was still in the die. I've (almost) followed a recipe from christmas card challenges - I have 4 layers, 3 ribbons, 2 papers but no butterfly - couldn't get that to work!!!
The sentiment is one of the beautiful LOTV grunge christmas sentiments - I think they're awesome!
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Winter wonderlandchristmasblogchallenge: While shepherd watched or we three kings
christmascardchallenges recipe
whoopsi daisycutedaisymay: Christmas cards
CBNcraftybloggersnetwork: Christmas anything goes
Cutie Pie:cutiepiechallenge Distress your card
LEJlejdesignschallengeblog: Diecuts and punches
papertakeweekly: Anything goes - optional christmas
I'd also like to show you a quick CAS card I made using the new snowflake stamp from this month's craft stamper - its such a stunner I had to have a play but will definitely be using it lots in the future.
I don't think the photo shows the snowflakes very well - at least not the embossed ones - very simply I stamped with versa mark and added sparkling snow wow embossing powder - then covered the card in spun sugar DI and finally stamped the black snowflake and added the ribbon and greeting.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
LIMsimplylessismoore: pink
In the pinkinthepinkchallenge: CAS
Hope you have a fabulous Wednesday - I've got a bit of a rainbows day ahead of me - the district accountant is bringing me my accounts back with a few queries (help!!!!) and then its rainbows this evening where we're making rainbow hedgehogs!!! Fabulous stuff!
Have fun and thanks for visiting - I hope to see you again soon!
Hugs
