let it snow

Good morning all you lovely people in blogland - I hope you are well rested and happy! Its another day and here I have some exciting news to share with you.....I've been asked to be the guest designer for January in the Christmas card challenges site - I'm so excited and can't wait to get started!

I've got a Christmas card to share with you today featuring a very old image from LOTV.

I've coloured the image in using promarkers and cut the image out using spellbinders die - then distressed with the mage still in the die with broken china DI. The papers are LOTV as is the sentiment. I've added lots of glitter and a snowflake charm. The snowflakes are cut using spellbinders dies. Then I've added faux stitching and pearls.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

LLFliliofthevalleythursdaychallenge: Snow is falling
christmascardsallyearround - fancy folds
sparklesforumchristmaschallenge - contemporary Colours -blue and Kraft
craftycalendarchallenge: warm up for winter
cupcakecraftchallenges: get krafty
Cypccraftyourpassionchallenges: Hexagons
PIOpileitonchallenge: make it sparkle
glitternsparklechallengeblog: not square
MAWTTmovingalongwiththetimes: stitch up

I hope you had a fabulous bonfire night last night and are nicely wrapped up for this cold weather! It was very cold at our village bonfire but we had fun and managed to see most of them this year - maybe next year Penny will be old enough to let us see them all!!! Thanks for visiting - and I hope to see you again soon! Big Hugs

Rachel xx
