Like I said I already I wanted to play with the foamiran ....so out came the tattered poinsettia die and the iron and the grey stazon too.
I used an embossing folder and in the top one a piece of Clarity paper too.
Next I moved on to some paint fusion stamps - only I decided to use inks - and I was thrilled with the way these turned out...Christmas roses - love them! The stamped verse is from Alison Bombers paperartsy set...there are a few!
Finally I did a Cardi-o- style card using the mini rabbits that Lucy bought me for mothers day...
Thought you might like to see this picture ....best friends indeed! Shadow is such a character and the girls both adore her!
Have a great day!
Hugs Rachel xx
Beautiful cards Rachel. Love them all. Rita xxxx
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful Rachel...I adore the Christmas roses....and like you I am not impressed with the foriamian....maybe I need more practice but mine seemed floppy.....we have lots of snow here today xxx

Wonderful cards Rachel, love the one with the rabbits, so cute xx
ReplyDeleteWow Rachel, your cards are beautiful, I do love poinsettias and those red ones are superb!
ReplyDeleteI have had mixed outcomes with the Foamiran too and wasted a few sheets before I got it right (finally and definitely not 100%).... I found that not stretching it at all, but just using the iron worked best... Hugs, Anne xx
Gorgeous Christmas cards Rachel, the poinsettias are fabulous. Hugs Marlene
ReplyDeleteHi Rachel, you've been a busy bee with all these cards, and they are just lovely. I've not tried Foamiran, and probably won't, for me it would just be another product to lie on a shelf, but some folk rave about it. All your cards are gorgeous, but I do love the Card-io style one with the bunnies. Gorgeous photo, Kate x
ReplyDeleteA beautiful set of cards Rachel with such a great theme for us all which I'm sure everyone enjoyed.

Oh my goodness...you did a field of cards...and a very pretty field at that!
ReplyDeleteThey are all lovely. Looks like you used a technique to create the inked card with the sort of rays of ligh. It is so pretty.
The ivory and green winter roses are lovely. The verse is perfect here.
My fave are the bunnies...they are so lovely. They were a fabulous gift from your girls!
A beautiful collection of cards Rachel, what a great head start you are getting.

I am unfamiliar with the foamiran product and the paint fusion. But you've got a beautiful array of lovely cards, with Christmas flowers and lots of prettiness to each one. Especially loved the "Christmas Flower" one, and nearly used a stamp that I have called Christmas flower too. It was a great challenge...aside from my choice of trying water colors! TFS & Hugs. (darling picture of your sweet daughter too. She's growing up!)
ReplyDeleteSuch a fabulous set of cards Rachel and all beautiful! I'm drawn to the green ones - even though I love red poinsettias. Sorry for being tardy with my card but I have posted it this morning. Christine xx
ReplyDeleteHi Rachel, what a great set of cards you made. I too had intended to use some Cardio stamps, but ran out of time! Love yours. Hugs, Shaz Xxx
