I started off with an A4 sized canvas board and using modge podge I stuck down onto it Tim Holtz tissue wrap and left it to dry. Next I added grungepaste through paperartsy-stencil-jofy-46874 and also tim-holtz-layering-stencil---bricked and allowed that to dry.Next I used distress paints in the following colours - twisted citron, squeezed lemonade and mustard seed.
During the next drying phase I stamped out eclectica-rubber-stamp-sheet-by-elizabeth-borer---eeb07 onto sheena card and coloured in using distress markers. Then I fussy cut the flowers.
Next I added colour to the bricks and leaves using archival inks in a swiping motion over the raised areas. I also added eclectica-paperartsy-stencil-elb-62304 and used a distress marker to add the spiky grassy flowers.
Finally I added all the fussy cut flowers and a stamp from the elizabeth borer set.
I hope my piece shouts spring to you!
