red berries at christmas card club

Morning all! I hope you are well! Well when this post goes live I will be on the way up to kendal for my first triathalon - I hope it goes okay and I manage to get around! I'll let you know about it tomorrow!

Today its Christmas card club and the lovely Valery chose the theme Red Berries. Well I have to say time has been very short this week - I feel like I am chasing my tail - anyway - I have only managed one card and here it is:

I used the background holly stamp and also highlighted the holly and berries on the snowy cottage stamp. Here's a closer look...

I hope thats enough berries Valery!

Have a lovely day and enjoy whatever it is that you're doing!

Big Hugs

  17. Good luck in your race...hope you're a winner. YOu certainly are with this gorgeous stampendous image (this is one of my favs of their holiday scenes). Love that you kept the image in sepia tones and let the background papers provide most of the color. The red oval mat round the image was a huge pop of color as was the corner holly arrangements. Beautiful card for the Berries challenge. TFS & Hugs

  19. A triathlon!!!! Are you competing? I mean like isn't that like three different disciplines -- I mean like riding a bike, swimming and running. Have I missed something here!!!! I will look for you to post something soon - like real soon!!!!

I have this stamp and you have made a stunning card with it. I think of this manor house as being somewhere in Great Britain where I would like to be right now!!

  20. I have been thinking of you with your triathlon today Rachel, I hope all went well and you enjoyed the day. Your Christmas card is lovely I love that postcard stamp and the way you have framed it in red picks out the colour of the berries in the background so well. You may only have made one but its a cracker! Mo x

  21. A little berry goes along way (especially on a white carpet!). Your card is lovely Rachel. Hope your triathlon went well. I have only been outside gardening but I've come in knackered. Can hardly move now and that's after a nice hot bath. hugs Mrs A.
