Some pictures from the event...
This is the transition area where you rack your bikes - as you can see it was a heavy frost!
This is me getting my numbers
Looking very scared whilst we had our briefing!
A bit more relaxed!
At around mile 11 - smiling!
Exhausted - on the uphill section of the run! Not a good look!
We had a lovely Saturday too - we went to my friend Alisons wedding - and as she was a brownie leader we made a brownie arch for her coming out of church.
It was very lovely - Alison looked stunning!
Today I want to share with you what we're doing at coffee pot today - we're going to make some gelli backgrounds and then use some visible image stamps to turn them into cards - this is what we're going to be heading towards although all makes will be very different.
I will try and get some pictures so you can see how the ladies got on!!
Have a good day whatever you're doing!
Big hugs
Rachel xx
BIG CONGRATS Rachel on managing to do it!! I am full of admiration! Your friend's wedding looks like a wonderful event and your card sample is just stunning!!! I am in love with the colours on your background, wonderful combination with the stark imagery from V.I. I look forward to seeing what the ladies will make of it. You certainly have just inspired me to get my gelli plate out....
ReplyDeleteHuuuuuuuuge congratulations Rachel, as I said before the placement is unimportant, the taking part and actually finishing is what is. And you did both, you deserve all the credit for your tenacity.
ReplyDeleteYour card today is just stunning I'm in need of a few more VI stamps but they sell out so quickly.

Well done Rachel!!!!! There's no way I could do a triathlon. I'm a cyclist, a long distance walker and do a little running - but the swimming would have me I'm afraid. I am so scared to be out of my depth.
ReplyDeleteYour card is going to be super. Looking forward to seeing the end results. Christine xx
Well done Rachel, love the card you are doing today, looks great

Huge congratulations at finishing your Tri ... it's not the finishing that counts, it's the taking part and that you did in spades!
