Today I've got my Tims Tag for this month to share with you. I've followed most of the techniques shown on timholtz blog. Here's Tim's tag:
and here's mine:
I decided I wanted to go with the colour scheme of lilac and purple so as I worked through the steps \I kept this in mind. I didn't have any tissue tape - so I used tissue wrap. The papers I used were all Tim Holtz but none of them were as Tim used on the original tag.
I didn't have the pinecone die to make the same flowers so I used the tattered florals and tattered leaves. I used mowed lawn and dusty concorde to colour the flowers.
I also didn't have the mirrored stuff that Tim used so I cut some aluminium with the die and added this to the lattice centres.
I also didn't have any of the rounded tags so I used a bar tag.
Considering I only had the lattice die for this tag I think I improvised well - I love this tag of Tims and this is probably one of my favourites I've done too so far!
I'd like to enter this into timholtz 12-tags-of-2014-april.
Thanks for visiting today and i hope to see you again soon!
Big hugs
Rachel xx
