diecuts and punches - a Chocolate baroque masterboard come canvas!

Good morning all! Happy Easter to you! I hope you have a wonderful time! Shaun's off for a few days now so we're looking forward to an extended weekend doing lots of things together. We're hoping to go off up to Lake District again today - depending on the weather of course.  I hope you've got some fun planned over the Easter weekend too.

Today I have an 8 x 8 inch canvas to share with you that I made using the masterboard technique that I learned at the workshop I went to with Hels back in February. The details are here.

In this case I punched a martha Stewart double sided vine punch and some tattered florals and some TH lattice diecuts and stuck them to the white card that meaured 7 inches square. I used some sprays in blues and purples to colour the background the background  then cut into 9 squares once it had dried.

I stamped some images from the chocolate baroque patchwork landscape set, coloured them and fussy cut them the added them to the squares. I also added some metallic parts and some words.

Finally I stuck the squares onto a canvas that I had painted back with black gesso. I think you can see the lattice diecuts well in the bottom right square - but the rest have been lost somewhat in the photography.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

stamping sensationssirstampalotchallenge: Diecuts and punches
Simon says stamp Monday simonsaysstampblog- Winged things
Sweet stampin' sweetstampinchallengeblog- flowers
Totally Gorjusstotallygorjuss: charms.

I'd also like to share with you today the easter cards that I have made for the girls - using two of the new annabel stamps from LOTV.

This is the card for Lucy. She likes her bike.

This one is for penny - she's very playful!

I'd like to enter these for the AG LOTV challenge at ribbongirls.

Thanks for visiting today and I hope to see you again soon! Big hugs rachel xx
