lots of layers at Creative Inspiration

Good morning lovelies - I hope you've been enjoying the sunshine - we had a gorgeous day yesterday - although most of what we did was indoors lol!!! We had a swim at Kendal pool then had a picnic in the garden, made some gingernuts and did some crafting! A great day and I hope today is just as good - we're off to see my mum and dad and we're heading into Lancaster to visit the castle for a special kids activity tour - sounds like fun - will let you know tomorrow.

Today a new challenge starts at Creative Inspiration and the theme is Lots of layers.

All you need to do is include 3 or more layers on your creations!

I set to work with one of my new Clarity stencils and made this card -

To make my card I applied the clarity stencil to a piece of card and added layers of distress ink - wild honey, spiced marmalade and festive berries. I applied the same colours to another piece of card too.

To make the butterflies I stamped them (from Sheena Douglass) onto extra paper and fussy cut them.

I repeated the stencil onto a small piece of card using just wild honey then removed the stencil and stamped the clarity stamp on top in black archival ink.

Then I did some matting and layering and there was my card - I'm pleased with this one - what do you think?
