My Valentine

Hello lovelies! How are you today? I hope you are well and have a good day! I'm off to my mum and dads today - have to take my dad up to the hospital for a pre-op appointment then I'll pop into Lancaster before heading home to do some housework and crafting. Whatever you get up to I hope it goes well!

Today I would like to show you a valentines card I have made for my husband to send to me  - now its not the case that Shaun would not have got me one anyway - but I rather like it so have snaffled it for me!
Shauns quite happy - lol!!!!

I used my hougie board to cut the card stepper and then stamped the penny black image - this is a new stamp for me- I got it just before Christmas and have only used it once before.

I coloured the image with speccies and used some graphic 45 papers to paper piece the dress and add to the card.

On the top of the stepper I made another flower from fabric stuck onto studio 490 film which I then cut with tattered florals die, heat set into shape and added to the card. The heart was made using my melt pot. I melted some UTEE then added some lapis black  to it before pouring out into a heart shaped cookie cutter. The small blue flowers were from a prize I won over at the Little Claire Challenge blog.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Fantasy stampers challengefantasystampers: Fave stamp
sweet stampin:sweetstampinchallengeblog Girly but no pink
Polkadoodlespolkadoodle: Girly

Hope you have a great Tuesday - thanks for dropping by and I hope to see you again soon!

Big Hugs

Rachel xx

  3. I adore the Venetian Summer stamp Rachel and it looks really great in the shades of blue and on the stepper card. I always seem to lean towards reds with her but this colourway is so striking.

Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with us at Penny Black and More challenge.

Got my order off to Imagination yesterday so I have something to look forward to after the op, thank you again for your kindness.
